Limitations: The candidate list is the INEP 2024 higher-education census (467 Medicina courses); courses authorised in 2025-2026 (reported as about 77 by MEC/SERES) are not included and were not reconciled. e-MEC is behind Cloudflare, so each record is sourced from the institution's own website; institutions whose sites are bot-walled, JavaScript-only or unreachable are listed as unresolved. Records marked not_verified have an official course page but no dated 2026/2027 intake evidence. Ownership is recorded only where an official page states it. Follow-up pass (2026-10-13): every unresolved candidate was retried directly; 6 were resolved (Universidade Positivo, UNICID, UNIFRAN, CEUNSP, UNIVALE, URI Erechim). Most remaining sites still time out or fail DNS from this network (many .edu.br hosts), sit behind Cloudflare/Akamai/WAF walls, or render course pages only with JavaScript; INEP ENAMED 2025 results and SISU data are XLSX/blocked and were not usable as quote sources.
