Limitations: MESCyT does not publish a usable list of licensed medicine programs on its site (checked 2026-10-13); candidates came from the CAAM-HP list and university websites. Web search was unavailable, so other institutions that may offer Doctor en Medicina (e.g. Universidad Católica del Este, Universidad Tecnológica del Sur, UCATEBA, UFHEC, UTECO were checked and showed no medicine; others were not checked) may be missing. UASD regional centres and UTESA campuses with medicine were not verified separately. Dominican Republic (DO) is distinct from Dominica (DM).
