Limitations: No official national list of general medicine programmes was reachable: Sanjesh blocks access by IP/region and the Ministry of Health sites time out. The candidate list (79) was compiled from Wikidata hints and the known set of MOHME universities/faculties of medical sciences, military universities and Islamic Azad University medical branches; it may be incomplete (other Azad branches and newer faculties of medical sciences were not enumerated). 31 faculties were verified on their own sites, 48 candidates are unresolved because their sites were unreachable (including Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Mazandaran, Babol, Yazd, Zahedan, Qom, Baqiyatallah, AJA and almost all Azad branches). Ownership was not recorded. Degree is recorded as general medicine where the faculty's pages name it.
