Limitations: Public federal colleges come from the ministry's 2025-2026 central-admission minimum-score list and are complete for that list. Kurdistan Region public colleges come from the federal 2026-2027 student guide; Kurdistan Region private universities (Tishk, Komar, Cihan, AUK, Knowledge, Lebanese French and others) were not checked for medicine and some were unreachable. The ministry publishes no list of which private institutions run general medicine: 78 private institution homepages were scanned and 6 colleges of medicine confirmed; 23 homepages could not be read. Degree titles were verified on college pages only for 5 colleges; others are recorded from the admission/accreditation lists. Cities are governorate-level where the ministry gives only a governorate.
