Limitations: Ministry of Health universities come from its official list (updated 27 Feb 2026); universities under other founders (Ministry of Science and Higher Education, regions, private) were compiled from prior knowledge and Wikidata hints and checked one by one on their 'Сведения' pages, so the non-MoH list may be incomplete (e.g. military institutes other than the Kirov academy, newer programs at other classical universities). Vladimir, Togliatti, Kurgan, North Ossetian (K. Khetagurov) universities' program pages were checked and did not list 31.05.01. Many Russian sites were unreachable from abroad; those schools are in 'unresolved'. Status 'operating' is based on the program appearing on the university's current mandatory programs/admissions page; for most, no 2026 intake figure was quoted. English names are customary English names, not individually re-verified; record names with '– Medicine program' are the university plus program where the medical unit's name was not verified. Institutions in Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk are not recorded under RU. Pediatrics (31.05.02) is noted per university, not recorded as separate records.
