Limitations: MD schools are recorded one per LCME-accredited program; LCME accredits multi-campus schools as a single program, so MD regional and clinical campuses are not listed separately. DO colleges and COCA branch campuses are separate records; COCA additional locations are recorded as campuses of their parent college. Pre-accredited DO colleges whose first class matriculated by 2026 are marked operating on the strength of the COCA directory; IUPCOM (first class 2027) and Meritus (no year given) are not_verified. Ownership, languages and international admissions were not researched. Websites were checked by fetching; several (e.g. UCSF, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, Minnesota, Harvard, MSU, Des Moines) return 403 or a bot wall to scripted requests and are recorded from their university domains without a fetch check. Some current names differ from the accreditor lists (e.g. Sam Houston State's college now uses the Russell and Glenda Gordy name; WesternU's Lebanon campus the Heatherington name); names follow the accreditor lists. Puerto Rico schools are researched under PR.
