The Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences in Mwanza teaches the five-year Doctor of Medicine through its Weill Bugando School of Medicine, next to Bugando Medical Centre. Direct entry requires three A-level principal passes in physics, chemistry and biology; holders of a diploma in clinical medicine may enter on equivalent qualifications. Fees for 2025/2026 are published in Tanzanian shillings for national students and in US dollars for foreign students.
