The Faculty of Medicine of The Hashemite University in Zarqa was established for the 2005/2006 academic year and admitted its first students in 2006/2007. Its six-year Doctor of Medicine curriculum teaches basic medical and behavioural sciences in the early years and clinical rotations from the fourth year. Clinical training is supported by a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health and the Royal Medical Services.
