Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) offers a 6-year, 360-ECTS Medicine programme conferring the Medical Doctor (MD) qualification, taught in English and also offered in Latvian; the programme is accredited until 28 May 2030. Years 1–2 cover basic subjects, year 3 preclinical subjects, years 4–5 clinical subjects in medical institutions, and year 6 is a clinical-practical year of placement rotations. 2026/2027 tuition is EUR 13,500 per year.
