The Health Sciences Training and Research Unit (UFR-SDS) of Université Saint Dominique d'Afrique de l'Ouest was created by decree in September 2019 and opened on 1 December 2019. Its medicine section leads to the Doctorat d'État; theory is taught in person at the Gana campus (Doulougou) and the Kombissiri annex, and placements take place in partner health facilities.
