Eastern Mediterranean University's Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Medicine in Famagusta runs a six-year international joint MD program with Marmara University: the first three years are at EMU and the last three at Marmara University in Istanbul. Teaching is in English, and international students must reach B2 Turkish for the clinical phase. The joint diploma is accredited by the Turkish Council of Higher Education and the program by TEPDAD (school statement).
